Position: Account Manager
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Manchester, United Kingdom
Pay Package: £30,000–£35,000 plus Commission and Company car or car allowance

Your Role:
* Handle and expand an existing customer portfolio within the Manchester region
* Identify and engage potential new customers to expand market footprint
* Establish enduring, trust-based partnerships with customers
* Coordinate customer orders efficiently with our internal production, warehouse, and distribution teams
* Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries, issues, or opportunities
* Update customer records and activity logs in our CRM/operating systems
* Collaborate closely with the purchasing and production departments to synchronize supply with customer demand
* Facilitate new product introductions and seasonal launches relevant to your customers
* Meet agreed sales and margin targets
* Provide value by offering product training, demos, or menu support where necessary
* Uphold compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality regulations

Candidate Requirements:
Experience:
* In-depth food industry knowledge is mandatory
* Prior experience in foodservice, hospitality, FMCG, or food wholesale preferred
* Experience managing customer relationships or a keen interest in transitioning into sales
* Comfortable collaborating with internal teams (e.g. supply chain, customer service)
* Knowledge of food safety or compliance is an advantage

* Business-minded with a firm grasp on pricing, value, and margins
* Organized, meticulous, and proactive
