Embark on a thrilling transformation journey with Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust as we gear up to introduce a new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system. We are on the lookout for a seasoned and dynamic Informatics Business Partner to play a pivotal part in designing, executing, and integrating this significant digital shift across our organization.
Please be informed that this is a time-bound opportunity focused on the EPR Project. This position is designed to provide interim coverage for the standing post holders who are expected to resume their duties in February 2027.

Key Job Responsibilities:
This role offers an exceptional chance to be a part of Salisbury Hospital’s Information Services team as a Business Partner. You will collaborate with operational and clinical teams in your Division, providing analytical insight to aid them in delivering optimal patient care.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in promoting improved data literacy and data governance across the Trust, fostering self-service BI usage, and guiding divisions towards informed decision-making. Additionally, they will be instrumental in the launch of a new business intelligence tool for the Trust and in supporting the division alignment project where team members align with Trust divisions.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Essential
– Degree or equivalent in a numerical subject, with demonstrated continuous professional development
– Minimum of 2 years’ experience in information analysis and interpretation
– Experience in a complex and demanding work environment
– Robust statistical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and present conclusions, both in writing and verbally, to a diverse customer base
– Proficiency in working with and managing intricate data sets
– Familiarity with SQL Server programming and data processing and transformation tasks
– Sound knowledge of advanced Microsoft Excel 2010 features, including writing complex formulae, pivot tables and lookups, to manipulate and present data
– Exceptional skills in interpreting and presenting data, with the ability to adapt style to the target audience
Preferred
– Specialized knowledge and experience in information management and business intelligence in an NHS information analyst role
– Experience relevant to working in an acute Trust
– Experience in mentoring staff, including those not data literate
– Expert knowledge of NHS reporting, structures, content, and data standards
– Prior experience with Power BI.
