Night Care Support Worker – Sheffcare Ltd, Midhurst Road, Sheffield

Join Sheffcare Ltd as a Night Care Support Worker and help make a difference in people’s lives! Based at our residential care home in Foxhill, Sheffield (S6 1EY), we offer flexible contracts to suit your lifestyle with options for 22, 33, or 44 hours per week.

Salary: £12.40 per hour
Job Type: Full Time / Part Time
Location: Sheffield
Hours/Shifts: 8:00pm to 8:00am, 3 nights per week including alternate weekends and bank holidays

Key Responsibilities:

• Support residents to live as independently as possible

• Empower residents to make decisions and choices

• Provide personal care (washing, dressing, eating/drinking)

• Offer physical and emotional support

• Assist with daily living tasks and activities

• Encourage involvement in social and wellbeing activities

• Support with healthcare appointments

• Administer medication (if trained)

• Record care using mobile technology

• Uphold Sheffcare values and safe working practices

• Attend regular training and professional development

Requirements:

• Adaptable, compassionate, and non-judgemental

• Excellent observational and time management skills

• Willingness to learn and develop

• Ability to build trust and rapport

• Approachability and empathy

• Basic tech skills

• Full employment history and references (min. 5 years)

• Enhanced DBS check
