This remarkable opportunity invites you to become a part of the multidisciplinary team in Integrated Community Paediatric Services in Suffolk. As a Specialist Nursery Nurse, you will be functioning within the Community Complex Care Team.
Our work philosophy intertwines community engagement and professional collaboration to address the unique needs of each child and their family. A key aspect of your role involves possessing a comprehensive understanding of these services, observing, and conveying critical information to enhance communication, and maintaining strict adherence to safeguarding policies.
Job Position: Specialist Nursery Nurse
Employment Type: Full-time
Remuneration: £27,485 – £30,162 Annually
Location: Ipswich, Suffolk, United Kingdom
Closing Date: 11th November 2025
Role Responsibilities:
As a Nursery Nurse, your responsibilities extend to addressing any care needs that a child might require during their shift. This dynamic role evolves based on the specific needs of the child under your care. Therefore, you will be required to engage in competency-based training, tailored to our team and the demands of the case load. This training is periodically updated and adjusted as per requirements. While caring for the child, you should be capable of working independently without direct supervision from senior nurses, whilst understanding when additional support is necessary. Our care packages span across counties and hence, flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes in daily schedules and travel are essential.
The team operates under the guidance of the Team Lead and care coordinators, who you will report to. They manage the daily needs of the care package, schedule shifts, solve problems, provide clinical supervision, and direct guidance.
